Summer in Arizona

It's hot!! I mean, really hot!! I ask myself this one question every Summer..."Why do people move to Arizona?" I mean, it's one thing to have lived here your whole life and not want to leave (who wants to uproot everything??), but to actually decide "Hey, I want to move to the hottest state in the continental US!!" THAT'S CRAZY!! I know the Winter is nice (or should I just call it the Fall, because it's not really Winter in comparison to other places), but that only lasts for about 4 months of the year, and then the rest of the time it's miserably hot. The worst part is that no matter where you go in Arizona you have to bring a sweater. It's 110 degrees outside and you have to lug around a sweater because any place you go that's indoors will be like 50 degrees with the air conditioning! I guess that's why they call it "layering". You have the least amount of clothing on as possible (shorts and a tank top), and then you walk into the grocery store and you feel like busting out the sweater and sweat pants because it automatically drops about 30 degrees. That can't be healthy (nor cheap!!) I complain about this every year, and then when it's cold in December, I can't wait for the Summer...it's a vicious circle! I guess for now, I'll just have to make the best of it (i.e. hanging by the pool with a glass of wine...) At least there's a positive side to every negative situation. To conclude, if you live Arizona, live it up and have a cold drink by the pool until it cools down a little. If you live somewhere else, be happy it's not 110 degrees outside. You may have colder Winters but right now you shouldn't be complaining...That's all for now!
